Mobile Ceramic Coating

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer made primarily from silicon dioxide (SiO2) that chemically bonds to your car’s clear coat rather than sitting on top of it like wax. Once cured, it forms a hard, transparent layer that becomes part of the paint’s surface — this is why it can’t be washed off or worn away the way wax does.

The SiO2 molecules cross-link during curing to create a dense, glass-like structure. This structure is what gives coated paint its two signature properties: extreme hardness (measured on the pencil hardness scale, hence “9H”) and hydrophobicity (water sheets off rather than sitting in beads that dry into water spots).
